  • Experience in oncology R&D is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Facilitate governance committees (e.g., Joint Steering Committees) and cross-functional groups, ensuring timely follow-up of actions.
  • Standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive cross-portfolio collaboration with proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Implement and embed alliance management principles, tools, processes, and frameworks, and support onboarding/integration for new alliances.
  • Contract obligation management and coordination with internal functions (legal, finance, R&D, and commercial) to ensure timely, compliant delivery and effective performance reporting, including management of alliance data systems and KPIs.

The Director, Alliance Management is a key member of Telix’s global Business Development and Alliance Management organization and plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of strategic alliances. This role acts as the connective tissue between internal functions and external partners, enabling seamless collaboration, effective governance, and consistent execution of alliance management frameworks. The role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands‑on operational management, ensuring that partnerships deliver on their intended scientific, commercial, and organizational value.

Key Accountabilities:

Governance & Operational Excellence

    • Facilitate governance committees, including Joint Steering Committees (JSCs) and cross‑functional working groups, ensuring effective and smooth operation and timely follow‑up of actions.
    • Standardize workflows, optimize processes, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency across alliances.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

    • Foster strong, trust‑based relationships across cultures and organizations, enabling productive collaboration and issue resolution.
    • Coordinate cross‑portfolio initiatives focused on proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and continuous improvement.
    • Promote transparency, alignment, and shared accountability across all stakeholders.

Alliance Management Framework Execution

    • Implement and embed alliance management principles, tools, processes and frameworks across all partnerships and internal functions.
    • Support integration activities for new alliances, ensuring smooth onboarding and alignment with established governance and operational models.

Contract & Obligation Management

    • Extract, track, and manage contractual obligations, milestone events, and reporting requirements to ensure timely and compliant delivery in alignment with contractual terms and partner expectations.
    • Partner and coordinate with internal functions such as legal, finance, research, and development/commercial teams to ensure business commitments are delivered on time and to agreed standards.

Management of Systems, Metrics & Reporting

    • Oversee systems used to track alliance activities and manage data exchange with internal teams and external partners.
    • Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, presentations, and KPIs to support transparency, performance monitoring, and executive decision‑making.

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree (B.S., M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent) in a scientific discipline and/or an MBA or equivalent degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-educational experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing large, complex projects, initiatives, or partnerships in pharma, biotech, research institutes or related life‑sciences environments is required.
    • Direct alliance management and/or project and operations management experience within pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology company environments is highly desirable.
    • Experience in oncology R&D is highly desirable.
