Business Data Analyst (remote in Poland)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles with demonstrated ability to extract insights from data.
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel; working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools and solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques.

  • Contributing to the development of the analytics codebase and reporting layer, covering the full customer lifecycle—from prospect acquisition to customer performance monitoring.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional leadership teams (Directors and C-level) to define and analyze key business metrics, translating data and market insights into actionable strategic recommendations that support business planning, pricing, product development, and market expansion.
  • Building comprehensive reports, advanced analytical models (including ML where relevant), and dashboards that distill complex business data to enable data-informed decision-making.
  • Partnering with Customer Success to design churn prevention strategies and identify cross- and upsell opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value.

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Data team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, including Directors and C-level leaders, providing insights that influence strategic decisions and support sustainable business growth.

You will apply your analytical expertise to transform complex data into actionable recommendations, helping shape market expansion, customer acquisition, and retention strategies. Your work will have a direct impact on how we prioritize initiatives and make data-informed decisions across the organization.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Contributing to the development of our analytics codebase and reporting layer, covering the full customer lifecycle - from prospect acquisition to customer performance monitoring.

  • Partnering with Customer Success to design churn prevention strategies and identify cross- and upsell opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Supporting Finance and RevOps teams in revenue forecasting and revenue performance monitoring.


Requirements

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles, demonstrating expertise in extracting insights from data.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Economics, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline, providing advanced knowledge and analytical capabilities or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, with excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in SQL and solid Excel skills for business analysis and collaboration with the Finance team; working knowledge of Python or R, enabling efficient data manipulation and business analysis at scale
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools to enable business stakeholders to make evidence-based financial and operational decisions.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis techniques and methodology, allowing for accurate interpretation and validation of the data.
  • Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional projects.
