We are seeking a skilled and creative Content Writer to support the System Adoption
department in positioning Medha as a thought partner and innovator in strengthening
education systems and improving youth employability outcomes. This role will focus on
translating program insights, faculty learnings, and innovation stories into clear, compelling,
and well-structured content for diverse audiences, including funders, policymakers, and
ecosystem partners.
The Content Writer will play a key role in developing high-quality written materials across
reports, digital platforms, event collaterals, award submissions, and media-facing content.
Through strong storytelling and attention to detail, the role will help ensure that the
organisation’s work is communicated effectively and recognized as a model of change within
the skilling and education ecosystem.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Content Development & Storytelling
Identify story leads from the field areas and travel to conduct interviews to write and
publish compelling, data-informed, and SEO-friendly blog stories as per the content
strategy.
Develop content for event promotional collateral, press releases, and record event
details.
Develop content for program marketing and social media campaigns that position state
departments as leaders.
Work across the organization to deliver quality one-pagers, project impact, quarterly,
and annual reports, blogs, white papers, case studies, newsletters, and social media
content.
Collaboration & Leadership
Manage internal designers and writers, as well as external vendors, writers, and
agencies.
Collaborate with research, product, and program teams to translate complex insights
into accessible narratives.
Collaborate with the central MarCom team and cross-functional departments to ensure
consistent messaging.
Support donor communications by contributing to donor reports and pitch decks with
strong narratives and success stories.
Capacity Building
Build the organization's capacity as writers for socials, blogs, reports, and newsletters.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate has the following capabilities:
Can collect stories from cross-functional teams and verify them for further development.
Can plan and manage a story repository that aligns with the team’s broader goals and
purpose.
Knows how to write content for different platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
to enhance visibility.
Can transform complex ideas into clear, engaging stories that are easily understood and
remembered.
Fluent in Hinglish, Hindi, and English.
Can manage multiple tasks, timelines, and personnel to ensure timely completion.
Can distil findings from reports or programs into clear, impactful, engaging text content.
Collaborates effectively with various teams to ensure content messaging is clear and
consistent.
Understands how to engage stakeholders in a way that resonates with their interests.
