We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform & DevEx team. This role integrates hands-on Windows Server administration with modern DevOps practices. You will work at the intersection of software and infrastructure, ensuring stable environments while contributing to automation, cloud operations, and continuous improvement.



Role Overview

You will manage and optimize the environments that support our SaaS and Cloud solutions. Your work will include administration of Windows Server components such as IIS, PowerShell, MS SQL, and Active Directory as well as virtualization, networking, and hardware tasks.

Alongside this, you will collaborate on automation, AWS & Azure infrastructure, and CI/CD initiatives to streamline delivery and enhance platform reliability. You will work closely with Engineering, Revenue teams, and external partners.



Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, IIS, MS SQL, SSL renewal, and related components.
  • Support and maintain the infrastructure behind SaaS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues across server, application, and network layers.
  • Work with virtualization platforms (Proxmox or similar) and network infrastructure.
  • Contribute to automation efforts using PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools (Terraform a plus).
  • Support workloads running on AWS & Azure.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).
  • Document systems, processes, and changes thoroughly.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and partners to improve reliability, performance, and deployment workflows.



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with IIS, PowerShell, and MS SQL administration.
  • Knowledge of networking, virtualization (Proxmox a plus), and server hardware.
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts; GitHub Actions knowledge is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Experience with automation or IaC (Terraform a plus).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).
  • Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written) are required.
  • Ability and availability to work in the Netherlands time zone (CET).
  • Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently.
