Sr. QA Tester at Dev Partners

🚀 We’re Hiring: Sr. QA Tester- 100% Remote🚀

We’re looking for a senior-level QA professional to enhance our manual testing processes while helping us explore and implement AI-assisted QA automation. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in manual QA within e-commerce environments and a genuine interest in shaping practical, AI-driven QA strategies in a collaborative team setting.

👷‍♂️Responsibilities

• Hands-on manual testing alongside the QA team
• Recommend improvements to the consistency and quality of manual testing
• Partner with the QA Manager on the AI QA strategy
• Evaluate and help select an AI QA vendor/tool
• Identify scenarios suitable for automation vs manual
• Support initial AI QA tool setup and pilot
• Create documentation and best practices
• Train team members on AI QA tools
• Ensure full knowledge transfer before contract end

✅Must-Have Skills:

• At least 7+ years of experience in Senior-Level QA / Manual Testing for web-based applications
• Good English Communication skill with the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions
• Strong hands-on manual testing experience in retail/e-commerce web platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, custom web apps), including regression, UAT, and exploratory testing
• Proven expertise in test design and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Jira)
• Demonstrated experience introducing QA tools/process improvements within existing manual QA teams (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Hands-on experience evaluating and piloting AI-assisted QA tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, QA Wolf, Autify, Functionalize, ChatGPT)
• Ability to define automation vs. manual testing strategy and support AI QA tool setup and pilot execution
• Experience mentoring QA team members and delivering structured documentation, SOPs, and full knowledge transfer
  

✅Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Retail or e-commerce domain experience covering checkout flows, payment gateways, and promotions engines
• Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps Boards)
• Experience conducting QA vendor comparisons, RFP evaluations, or technical assessments
• Familiarity with API and integration testing tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter)
• Experience contributing to AI QA strategy roadmap planning
• Experience working in EST time zone with distributed/global teams
• Prior experience in defined-term contract roles requiring rapid onboarding and transition

🕒 Work Schedule 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Philippine Time
