Microsoft Full Stack Developer (Access Database) – Healthcare Environment - REMOTE

We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Access and the broader Microsoft technology ecosystem to help modernize and support critical applications used across clinical, operational, and administrative healthcare functions.

What You’ll Do

Build & Modernize Applications

• Develop and maintain full‑stack solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET (Blazor or MVC), and SQL Server.
• Enhance and support legacy Microsoft Access applications, including forms, reports, VBA, queries, and macros.
• Lead modernization efforts by integrating or migrating Access‑based tools into scalable web‑based systems.
• Refactor legacy VBA into modern .NET services and ensure all solutions are secure, maintainable, and future‑ready.

Own Access Database Architecture

• Architect and manage complex front‑end/back‑end Access database structures.
• Optimize performance for multi‑user environments.
• Define business rules, workflows, and validation logic.
• Maintain documentation for schemas, integrations, and data flows.

Support Healthcare Systems & Compliance

• Develop applications supporting clinical, revenue cycle, quality, and operational workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Implement secure authentication, RBAC, and audit logging.
• Partner with clinical, operational, and compliance teams to ensure system alignment.

Enable Integration & Interoperability

• Build APIs and integrations with clinical, claims, and enterprise systems.
• Work with standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Support data migration, transformation, and cross‑system reporting initiatives.

Deliver Reporting & Analytics

• Create and maintain reports using Access, SSRS, or Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across operational and clinical reporting needs.
• Support ad hoc reporting for cross‑functional teams.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft full‑stack development.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Access (VBA, forms, reports, macros, queries, database design).
• Strong skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience in a healthcare setting (provider, payer, hospital, clinic, or health IT vendor).
• Solid understanding of healthcare privacy/security standards (HIPAA, HITECH).
• Proven ability to design secure, multi‑user database applications.
