  • Own and manage the end-to-end product backlog; prioritize ongoing maintenance and support, infrastructure/pipeline initiatives, and feature enhancements; ensure backlog items are clearly defined, groomed, and aligned with sprint capacity; maintain governance over delivery pipelines and release planning.
  • Establish a structured maintenance model to ensure platform reliability and long-term engagement; drive proactive product initiatives; support scalability and evolution through disciplined roadmap management.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements; participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning; operate within Agile/Scrum to deliver predictable, measurable progress; ensure cost-efficient and scalable execution.

Salary range: Rs 2050000 - Rs 2950000 (ie INR 20.5 - 29.5 LPA)

We are seeking a highly execution-focused and hands-on Product Manager to take full ownership of a core cybersecurity platform. This role is centered on structured delivery, roadmap governance, and operational continuity to ensure sustained product growth and platform stability.

This is not a strategic advisory or C-level role. It is a delivery-driven position designed for a long-term contributor who thrives on execution excellence, backlog discipline, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Ownership & Strategic Direction

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the platform’s architecture, roadmap, and business objectives.
  • Define and prioritize product initiatives across maintenance, enhancements, and new capabilities.
  • Ensure alignment between product development efforts and long-term business outcomes.
  • Maintain roadmap clarity and ensure consistent execution across releases.

2. Primary Day-to-Day Product Lead

    • Feature enhancements and new product capabilities
  • Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, groomed, and aligned with sprint capacity planning.
  • Maintain structured governance over delivery pipelines and release planning.

4. Maintenance & Long-Term Continuity

  • Establish a structured maintenance model to ensure platform reliability and long-term engagement.
  • Drive proactive, meaningful product initiatives rather than reactive or ad-hoc tasks.
  • Support scalability and long-term platform evolution through disciplined roadmap management.

5. Hands-On Execution & Agile Delivery

  • Participate actively in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement clarification.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements.
  • Operate within Agile/Scrum frameworks to deliver predictable, measurable progress.
  • Ensure cost-efficient and scalable execution practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership roles.
  • Strong background in managing SaaS or platform-based technical products.
  • Proven experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience managing distributed or offshore delivery teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira or similar backlog management tools.
  • Strong prioritization, stakeholder communication, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business goals into structured technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity domains such as MSSP, SOC operations, Red Teaming, or Application Security.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native environments (GCP preferred).
  • Experience managing infrastructure or pipeline initiatives alongside feature development.
