  • Experience in specification-led sales for technical building products (e.g., passive fire, smoke control, fire curtains, partitions, facades, lighting, HVAC, flooring, roofing, access control, CCTV).
  • Knowledge of specification stakeholders such as architects, designers, consultants, contractors and specifiers.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers to influence designs, secure specifications, and convert opportunities into orders.
  • Experience working remotely and managing a London-based territory.

Job description

Our client is a UK-based manufacturer of fire and smoke protection construction products. We are looking for an experienced Specification Sales Manager to work directly with architects, engineers, and contractors to influence designs, secure specifications, and convert opportunities into sales.

This is a fully remote role covering London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, designers, and other decision-makers involved in specifying building solutions.

  • Promote and secure product specifications on new and refurbishment projects.

  • Track opportunities and convert specifications into confirmed orders.



Requirements


  • Experience working in specification led sales with a technical building product, for example; Passive Fire & Smoke Control, Fire Curtains, Partitions, Facades, Lighting, HVAC, Flooring, Roofing, Access Control, CCTV etc.

  • Knowledge of specification stakeholders such as Architect, Designers, Consultants, Contractors and Specifiers.




Salary: £50,000-£70,000 + OTE + Company Car/Car Allowance
