Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Support actuarial teams through data collection, model development and review, feasibility studies, pro forma financial modeling, and preparation of actuarial reports, presentations, and client deliverables
• Collaborate on new business, proposals, and client meetings while contributing to process automation, technical capability improvements, and cross‑team initiatives
• Assist with special projects as needed, maintain flexibility in assigned duties, and travel annually for in‑person collaboration with Spring staff in Boston

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated progress toward Associateship in the SOA or CAS, including passing at least two actuarial exams within the past two years; strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of actuarial and technical tools such as Python, VBA, ProVal, or similar modeling software; strong technical writing capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of responsiveness and dependability

Salary range is $70K to 90K per year based on experience and qualifications.
