Extensive hands-on z/OS systems programming experience (not operations or application development).
RACF administration, including user IDs, groups, certificates, resources, and key rings.
IBM software installation via ServerPac, z/OSMF, and CBPDO, plus related DFSMS/DFHSM/DFDSS/DFRMM, System Logger, and XCF components.
JES2/JES3 experience with SYS1.PARMLIB and SYS1.PROCLIB familiarity, catalog management, ISPF/SDSF, and Unix System Services (USS).
Requirements:
Maintain, upgrade, and support IBM z/OS operating systems across complex environments; troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues to ensure stability, performance, and uptime.
Install and configure IBM and ISV software using standard tooling and workflows; provide documentation and guidance across the software lifecycle.
Educate and assist users and team members on z/OS capabilities and best practices; participate in scheduled maintenance windows, including occasional off-hours or weekends.
Work independently and collaboratively within a small team of senior technical professionals; assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
