  • Deliver customer demonstrations, trials, evaluations, and first installs in partnership with Customer Services

We are seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer to join our team in Sweden. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Access Technologies including PON and Carrier Ethernet to support the Nordic Sales Team and drive technical excellence in customer engagements. Optical Networking (WDM, Fiber Monitoring) experience is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical expert for mainly Access networking solutions, supporting sales initiatives and strategic accounts. Optical networking
  • Communicate market trends, customer requirements, and feature requests to internal teams.
  • Lead the technical aspects of major bids and tenders, collaborating closely with strategic customers, Product Line Management, and Business Development.
  • Manage the RFX process and assist Key Account Managers with Win/Loss analysis, including documentation and tools.
  • Provide direct technical support for major accounts and channel opportunities.
  • Deliver customer demonstrations, trials, evaluations, and first installs in partnership with Customer Services.
  • Offer technical consulting on network design, optimization, planning, and training for customers and the sales team.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Good science / engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Access network solutions. Transmission network knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Experience with network providers, data centre, or telco / router equipment supplier area
  • Fluent in English skills, both spoken and written – other languages are appreciated as well
  • Robust personality and attitude essential
  • Must have considerable presentation and meeting management experience

Scope of employment

  • Fulltime / Permanent
  • Office based (Stockholm), hybrid or remote working (Sweden).
  • Readiness to travel in Nordics (35%)

Compensation

  • Sales compensation scheme: Base salary + Commission
