Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience in closing sales of insurance policies and meeting individual and team quotas, with ability to solicit new business and cross-sell/up-sell products
  • Proven ability to work with bancassurance partnerships and manage relationships with bank partners (e.g., BPI) and customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, VSO, VSHS, and branch staff to generate leads and business
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, including timely submission of required reports and providing field intelligence on products, campaigns, competitors

Requirements:

  • Close sales of various types of insurance policies to meet quotas; solicit new business and cross-sell/up-sell identified BPI AIA products to assigned customers (including BPI bank customers, existing policyholders, and digital leads)
  • Partner with Virtual Sales Officer to cross-sell life and health insurance and engage in bancassurance activities such as company caravans and client calls
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with the VSO, client company staff, VSHS, and branch personnel to generate bancassurance leads and business; liaise with back office for policy servicing and claims
  • Submit required reports on time; provide field intelligence on products, marketing campaigns, competitors, and the bank partner; report and meet weekly with the Virtual Sales Team Leader and perform other tasks as required

About the Role

Responsible for closing sales of various types of insurance policies in order to meet individual / team quotas and company business objectives

  • Solicit new business, cross-sell and up-sell identified BPI AIA products to target customers assigned to the Virtual Sales team, which may include BPI bank customers, existing BPI AIA policyholders and BPI AIA prospective leads from Digital and Direct Marketing acquisition initiatives.
  • Partner with Virtual Sales Officer (VSO), for their cross-selling of life and health insurance. This includes but is not limited to: company and public caravans, and client calls.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with the VSO, as well as the employees of client companies, VSHS (Virtual Store, Head Sales) and other branch staff they will be working with or assigned to for the purposes of generating bancassurance leads and bancassurance business. Their span of professionalism should expand to the entire BPI AIA team, as well as to AIA PH and BPI.
  • Promote and maintain the reputation of BPI AIA as well as both BPI and AIA PH.
  • Perform customer service and business conservation activities for their respective leads.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and our back office for policy servicing and claims.
  • Submit required reports on time.
  • Provide field intelligence on products, marketing campaigns, competitors and the bank partner that will affect bancassurance business.
  • Report and meet weekly with Virtual Sales Team Leader for production updates and marketing campaigns and other related matters.
  • Perform other tasks as may be required by immediate superior for the purposes of company business.
