Your job.

Live your passion for software development in exciting customer projects and be inspired by your colleagues’ enthusiasm. As a Python Software Engineer, you will cooperate with interdisciplinary teams in projects and experience how technology and team spirit unite to create innovative solutions.

Your job will involve working closely with clients to develop, test, and ship software that meets their needs. You will efficiently and competently solve complex software challenges. Continuous further development and active knowledge exchange mean that you will be working with the latest methods and tools to stay up to date with the latest trends.  

You will design, build and maintain backend services primarily in Python, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DocumentDB), including performance tuning. You will contribute to containerised, cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes, support and review CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) and DevOps work delivered by partners, and build simple frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Next.js. Working in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment, you’ll help drive continuous improvement, share your expertise, and mentor others as you shape impactful digital solutions.

What’s Important to Us

• Solid experience (commensurate with level: junior to senior) in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on Python for backend and data engineering.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development using React/Next.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with REST API development and designing/optimizing NoSQL (MongoDB) and RDBMS (PostgreSQL) databases.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Able to master CI/CD practices and solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development, AI frameworks, and system integration with AI models (e.g., Agent, MCP).
• Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented, and functional design principles and best practices patterns.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with great attention to detail.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and a familiarity with lean development principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-driven individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for continuous process improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, globally distributed team environment, building trusted relationships across the organization.
• For Senior Candidates: Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and driving best practices. Desirable Skills (A Plus):
• Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry.
• Prior experience in Investment products, Private Banking, Wealth, or Asset Management.
• Familiarity with geo-specific compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, APAC regulations) and localization strategies.
