Join a Fast-Growing UK-Focused Packaging Supplier – Remote Role from Cape Town
Remote (Cape Town) | UK Hours | R25 000 to R30 000 per month

A dynamic and fast-growing packaging company serving the UK market, specialising in tailored B2B packaging solutions. With a focus on performance and customer satisfaction, the team is expanding to meet increasing demand and grow its UK client base.

The Role: Business Development Representative
This role is focused on driving new business within the UK packaging sector. You'll take ownership of outbound sales, targeting prospective clients through cold calling and relationship-building. Your key objective is to convert leads into long-term customers while managing ongoing orders and identifying opportunities for account growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of outbound B2B sales, telesales, or business development experience

  • Conduct high-volume cold calls to B2B prospects in the UK

  • Identify decision-makers and qualify new business opportunities

  • Present tailored packaging solutions confidently and professionally

  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximise profitability

  • Close deals and meet or exceed monthly targets

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and activity tracking in HubSpot CRM

  • Develop and grow existing accounts through upselling and relationship management

  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise targeting and sales strategy

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound B2B sales or business development

  • Strong cold-calling skills and comfort speaking to new prospects

  • Confident communicator with excellent objection-handling ability

  • Highly target-driven, resilient, and motivated by commission

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

  • Proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot experience is an advantage)

  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently during UK hours
