Job description

Senior Software Engineer (Android)

Bethesda, MD | REMOTE | 12-Month Contract

Job Summary:

Seeking for a Senior Software Engineer (Android) as a key technical expert, leading innovative projects and creating impactful solutions using the latest technologies. Collaborate with product leaders to meet user requirements and drive value.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
Conduct complex analyses and ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with IT and vendor teams for seamless operations.
Adhere to IT governance standards and improve processes.
Manage and monitor service provider outcomes.

Required Education and Experience:

6 years of software development experience with expertise in multiple programming languages.
5 years of hands-on experience with Android native application development (Kotlin, Java).
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.

Preferred Skills:

Experience developing apps for large user bases.
Proficient in Android Architecture components and design patterns.
Expertise in multithreading, caching mechanisms, and data management.
Knowledge of dynamic data services and Android testing frameworks.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead in a managed service environment.
