Requirements:

  • Develop and lead the execution of a coordinated sales strategy to be a full solution provider and drive revenue growth with VAR accounts
  • Engage with VAR accounts to identify unmet needs, build awareness and specifications for Trystar offerings, and collaborate with Solution Owners, Product Owners, and Engineering to tailor differentiated solutions
  • Execute sales processes using Salesforce and ERP systems, leverage analytics for forecasting, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
  • Establish and execute a commercial marketing program strategy including industry events, webinars, digital campaigns, and market analysis to capture opportunities and adapt to change

Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Key Account Manager – Value Added Reseller Market, working remotely + traveling! 
  

Reporting to the Director, Key Accounts & BD, the Key Account Manager - VAR will grow and manage Trystar’s relationships with VAR Accounts including but not limited to: Hitachi, ABB, Mitsubishi, Exponential Power, Burns & Mcdowell, Siemens, Alpine Power Systems, MTI, and Toshiba.

In this role you will get to:

  1. Develop and lead the execution of a coordinated sales strategy focused on fulfilling Trystar’s vision to be a full solution provider to our customers
  2. Continuously improve the Trystar sales process through disruptive and innovative thinking 
  3. Engage directly with VAR Account customers to:
  1. Identify how Trystar can help meet their unmet needs and constraints with our current offering or through custom solutions
  2. Build awareness and develop preference (specifications) for the Trystar offering
  1. Collaborate with Trystar Solution Owners, Product Owners, Application Engineers and Engineering to identify differentiated solutions that resonate with VAR customer needs
  2. Implement sales process best practices to target business aligned with the Trystar strategy
  3. Drive revenue growth by maximizing share-of-wallet at existing accounts.
  4. Create plans and campaigns that mobilize the Trystar team to develop opportunities and increase their win rates
  5. Utilize your experience with Salesforce, and ERP systems to maximize sales process effectiveness
  6. Leverage business intelligence and analytics to get results
  7. Display your influence and communication skills
  8. Execute sales forecasting at a level that improves the effectiveness of the other functional groups’ performance and helps Trystar exceed customer expectations on delivery and responsiveness
  9. Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to provide inputs that deliver customer solutions with a best-in-class customer experience
  10. Analyze the Rental market and market opportunities
  11. Exhibit a growth mindset and display your ability to manage change
  12. Utilize your business acumen in regular decision making
  13. Articulate technology differentiators to both business and technical audiences, external and internal 
  14. Establish and execute against an effective commercial marketing program strategy, budget, and annual calendar including but not limited to participation in industry tradeshow speaking opportunities and engagement, webinars, social selling, thought leadership white papers, and digital marketing collateral and campaigns.

 

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Candidate must reside in the US.
  • Strong communication skills
  • 10+ years of sales experience servicing the Value Added Reseller Market.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% initially, and then 25-50% thereafter.
