Job Description :

As a Data Product Manager you will play a crucial role in building and supporting the foundation of Enlyte's data-driven decision-making process as an early member of the Casualty Analytics Group.  Your duties will include implementing data governance practices, analyzing insurance claim data, and driving data quality initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into product solutions
  • Train business units on data schemas, analytical platforms, and visualization tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our central databases with data integrity, additional features, and increased adoption
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a data dictionary, processes and procedures, and governance playbook
  • Drive understanding and adherence to the principles of data management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions
  • Enhance our central database and corporate analytical toolbelt to solve business problem use cases
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support business teams in their analytical efforts
  • Implement and oversee processes to ensure data integrity across the organization
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain buy-in for data initiatives
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Proficiency in SQL and basic understanding of programming concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing data quality processes and procedures

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related field
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Hex
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Snowflake
  • Knowledge of the workers' compensation insurance industry
  • Certifications in data management or project management (e.g., CDMP, PMP)

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $110,000 - $140,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
