This is the job

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong MS SQL Server skills to support the development, optimization, and maintenance of key data processing workflows.

This is you

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server development

• Advanced T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, transactions)

• XML handling in SQL Server

• Query optimization and indexing

• Partitioning and large-table management

• Understanding of batch processing and data pipelines

• Experience with database-level validation and integrity checks

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience debugging data issues in integration environments

• Support for performance testing and tuning

• Familiarity with production support and stabilization activities

This is your role

• Implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and partitions

• Develop stored procedures supporting: data capture, conversion, batching, batch handoff to application layer

• Implement XML parsing and transformation logic

• Support handling of: duplicate messages, late-arriving data, corrections and reprocessing

• Implement performance optimizations and partitioning strategies

• Support testing, stabilization, and production rollout

• Assist QA and operations teams during testing and defect resolution
