Position: Business Development Officer (SBA Lending) — Fully Remote

Compensation: OTE $450,000–$600,000 (First Year)

Role Overview

The Business Development Officer (BDO) will develop, manage, and expand SBA lending relationships nationwide. This high-performance sales role requires a seasoned SBA professional with a deep referral network and a proven record of $20MM+ funded annually for the past three years.

Youll be joining a team of 40 existing BDOs with a national footprint, leveraging cutting-edge lending technology and a powerful brand reputation in the SBA space.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and close SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans nationwide.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of small business clients and referral relationships.
• Utilize your network of brokers, lenders, and business owners to generate new business.
• Execute sales and marketing strategies to expand within assigned markets.
• Manage loan process from origination through funding with underwriting and operations teams.
• Achieve annual production goals of $20MM+ SBA loan sales.
• Leverage systems such as Salesforce to track and manage deal flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 4–5+ years of experience originating SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans.
• Proven annual SBA loan production of $20MM+ per year (minimum 3 consecutive years).
• Established referral network and hunter mentality—strong track record of closing new business.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, loan structuring, and risk management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and goal-oriented professional.
