Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred focus in Business, Finance, or Computer Science.
  • 15+ years total experience; 7+ years in product development for B2B SaaS, specifically Fintech, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or global financial operations.
  • Deep domain expertise in Contracts, Procurement workflows, AP processes (including 2-way/3-way matching) and global e-Invoicing standards.
  • Technical fluency with APIs and complex data structures; ability to oversee technical mockups and clickable wireframes; strong commercial acumen and stakeholder leadership.

Requirements:

  • Lead the product development lifecycle for invoice processing solutions, ensuring alignment with Global Business Services (GBS) and GCC operational requirements.
  • Define the strategic roadmap for Finance Solutions, applying a strong product mindset to determine Now and Next and guide cross-functional teams toward formal leadership as the organization scales.
  • Coordinate with internal procurement, engineering, and external technology partners to ensure product alignment and drive global expansion, including partnerships with providers like EDICOM.
  • Lead market intelligence and AI/Automation initiatives, leveraging AI product sense and design thinking to build procurement, finance, and accounting workflows and improve efficiency in document-heavy processes (contracts, FPA, etc.).

Principal Product Manager - Finance Solutions

Role Overview

Iron Mountain is seeking a Principal Product Manager - Finance Solutions to drive the strategy, development, and scaling of software solutions that digitize and streamline the invoice-to-payment lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of FinTech, SaaS, and Artificial Intelligence, focusing on replacing manual financial tasks with automated workflows specifically tailored for Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Capability Center (GCC) environments. This is a Director-level role designed for a strategic hands-on leader who will initially oversee high-impact product initiatives and transition into formal people management as the product organization continues to scale. 

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex Finance workflows and enterprise-scale digital transformation, managing a robust ecosystem of global technology partners and internal engineering squads.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Growth

  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal procurement, engineering teams, and external technology partners to ensure product alignment.  

  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and direction to cross-functional teams with the expectation of formal team management as the product organization scales.

  • Product Mindset: Apply a strong product mindset to set the strategic direction, defining the "Now and Next" for the Finance Solutions evolution.  

Product Development & Roadmap

  • End-to-End Development: Lead the product development lifecycle for invoice processing solutions, ensuring alignment with GBS and GCC operational requirements.  

  • Market Intelligence: Lead research initiatives to identify market requirements and analyze market trends.  

  • Global Expansion: Drive the strategy for wider global e-Invoicing coverage by engaging and managing partners like EDICOM.  

AI, Automation & Ecosystems

  • AI Product Sense - Strong understanding of AI Solutions and Agentic Frameworks to build solutions focused on Procurement, Finance and Accounting Workflows leveraging the DXP Platform

  • Design Thinking with AI - Next generation solutions designing and building to address the efficiency and insights gap within document heavy workflows (e.g. Contracts, FP&A, etc).

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required; a focus on Business, Finance, or Computer Science is preferred.

  • Experience: Overall 15 years + experience; 7+ years in Product Development for B2B SaaS, specifically within Fintech, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or global financial operations.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Contracts, various Procurement workflows, and AP processes, including 2-way/3-way matching and global e-Invoicing standards.  

  • Technical Fluency: Hands-on experience working with APIs and complex data structures; ability to oversee technical mockups and clickable wireframes.  

  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage a product book of business and support sales by addressing operational issues for high-value opportunities and managing stakeholder relationships

  • Stakeholder Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex multi-vendor environments and coordinate across engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.  

Reasonably expected salary range: $163,400.00 - $217,900.00
