Trilogy Federal is looking for a remote Senior Data Engineer with working knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI to join our growing company and support our federal client.  Our ideal candidate will contribute effectively towards our team goals and ensure exceptional customer experience for our client and their employees. 
 
We are seeking an experienced candidate who has prior implementation skills to implement a functional SSAS environment. The selected candidate must have working knowledge of tabular and multidimensional data models, in addition to experience documenting logical and physical data models. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement a functional SSAS environment.  
  • Building and re-designing a set of reports that need to transition to an analysis services environment. 
  • Work with our customer’s technical team to identify initial requirements. 
  • Apply tabular, relational, and multidimensional data modeling methodologies.  
  • Transform raw data into meaningful business decisions and pre-aggregate data for optimal results. 
  • Document logical and physical data models.  
  • Document and update reporting environment data model 
  • Develop new reports based on customer requirements 

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience and a master's degree (OR 12 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree) 
  • Bachelor’s degree must be in Computer Science 
  • Expert-level experience building databases and creating logic queries 
  • 7+ years’ programming in SQL, PL/SQL 
  • 7+ years’ working experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS 
  • 7+ years’ deep database knowledge with either SQL server or Oracle 
  • Experience building both star and snowflake schemas 
  • Working knowledge of tabular, relational, and multidimensional data models 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance 

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience generating data models and analytics of a financial nature including budgeting, financial management, or personnel environment. 
  • Preferred VA experience
