Roles & Responsibilities

Strong experience in Infrastructure Architecture across on-prem, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid/multi-cloud environments
Deep expertise in Networking (VPC/VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, Firewalls, Load Balancers), OS (Linux/Windows), and virtualization/container platforms (VMware, Kubernetes)
Automation/IaC proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, ARM, or CloudFormation; monitoring/ITSM tooling knowledge
Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect level) and TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework knowledge; ITIL certification is a plus

Requirements:

Lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and compliance
Define reference architectures, standards, and best practices; own high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) design documents; translate business requirements into technical solutions
Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and clients; lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews; support RFP/RFI responses and solution estimations
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineers; review and approve architecture designs; align initiatives with the enterprise architecture and technology roadmap; promote automation and ITSM alignment

Infra Solution Architect
Remote Role
Duration: 21 W, 3 D

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design

Lead the architecture, design, and governance of enterprise infrastructure solutions

Design on-prem, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hybrid architectures

Define reference architectures, standards, and best practices

Own high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents

Ensure solutions meet scalability, resilience, security, and compliance requirements

Consulting & Client Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and customers

Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews

Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution estimations

Infrastructure & Platforms

Deep expertise in:

Compute, Storage, and Network (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Load Balancers, Firewalls)

Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, Hybrid connectivity)

Virtualization & Container platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes)

Backup, DR, and High Availability architectures

Design and govern migration and modernization strategies

Security & Compliance

Embed security-by-design principles in infrastructure solutions

Align architectures with NIST, CIS, ISO, SOC2, HIPAA (as applicable)

Work closely with security teams on IAM, network security, and data protection

Automation & Operations

Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)

Promote automation, standardization, and self-service models

Define operational models, SLAs, and support frameworks

Collaborate on ITSM, monitoring, and observability strategies

Leadership & Governance

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineers

Review and approve architecture designs across projects

Participate in technology roadmap planning and innovation initiatives

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals

Required Skills & Expertise
Technical Skills

Strong experience in Infrastructure Architecture

Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP (multi-cloud preferred)

Networking: VPC/VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, Firewalls, Load Balancers

OS: Linux & Windows

Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Kubernetes

Automation/IaC: Terraform, Ansible, ARM, CloudFormation

Monitoring & ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Consulting & Soft Skills

Excellent stakeholder management and communication

Strong presentation and documentation skills

Ability to influence senior leadership and C-level stakeholders

Proven experience in large enterprise transformation programs

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP – Architect level)

TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework knowledge

ITIL certification

Experience in managed services or global delivery models
