Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer - SQL & Tableau to join our team remotely on a contract basis. In this role, you will focus on developing and optimizing SQL queries and Tableau dashboards, with a strong emphasis on data warehousing. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of data modeling (facts and dimensions), along with excellent communication skills, as the position involves consulting with clients.

As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate with clients to build and deliver high-quality data-driven solutions. Your expertise will be critical in supporting business intelligence initiatives and transforming raw data into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, preferably in Snowflake, for large-scale data pipelines.
• Design and build Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize and analyze data.
• Collaborate on data warehousing projects, ensuring the integration of structured and unstructured data.
• Implement and optimize data models, focusing on facts, dimensions, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting, providing clients with high-quality, easy-to-understand dashboards.
• Ensure the accuracy, performance, and scalability of data-driven solutions.
• Provide technical consulting and support, offering insights and best practices for data visualization and reporting.
• Engage in client-facing discussions, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in SQL development (preferably with Snowflake) and Tableau development.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL (specifically Snowflake or similar platforms).
• Expertise in Tableau development, including creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Extensive experience working with data warehousing concepts and projects.
• Solid understanding of facts, dimensions, and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this is a consulting role requiring direct client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data warehousing solutions.
• Experience in ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence (BI) tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage client expectations effectively.
