Roles & Responsibilities

10+ years of SAP architecture experience with at least one full-cycle RISE migration (mandatory)
Deep understanding of Private Cloud Edition (PCE) architecture and the SLA/RR matrix
Platform strategy and sizing for BTP integration, side-by-side extensibility, and large-enterprise landscapes (HANA scale-out, memory management)
Hyperscaler fluency (Azure/AWS/GCP) including cloud networking, security, storage tiers, and governance of Optional Software Vendors (OSVs) in RISE

Requirements:

Architect SAP Platform/RISE solutions, delivering S/4HANA Cloud (PCE) + BTP architectures and leading a full-cycle RISE migration
Produce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and High-Level Designs (HLDs) aligned with SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework; create visual diagrams for stakeholders
Govern Optional Software Vendors (OSVs) within RISE to protect the Clean Core and smooth upgrades; manage cloud networking, security, and storage considerations across hyperscalers
Lead platform strategy and sizing for large enterprise landscapes, including BTP integration, side-by-side extensibility, HANA scale-out, memory management; document technical cutover and upgrade paths

Job Summary

Technical competences:

SAP RISE Architecture & PCE: Deep understanding of Private Cloud Edition (PCE) architecture, including the SLA/R&R (Roles and Responsibilities) matrix.

Platform Strategy & Sizing: Expertise in defining BTP (Business Technology Platform) integration, Side-by-Side extensibility, and sizing for Large Enterprise landscapes (HANA scale-out, memory management).

OSV & Add-on Governance: Proven ability to manage Optional Software Vendors (OSVs). In RISE, add-ons can break the "Clean Core" or complicate upgrades; this person must know how to vet them technically.

Hyperscaler Fluency: Since RISE sits on hyperscaler infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP), they need to understand cloud networking (VPC peering, Private Link), security, and storage tiers.

Documentation :

"SAP-Style" Methodology: Proficiency in creating Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and High-Level Designs (HLD) that align with SAPs "Enterprise Architecture Framework."
Visual Communication (VERY IMPORTANT): Ability to translate complex cloud topology into structured, scannable diagrams for stakeholders.
Process Mapping: Experience documenting the technical cutover and upgrade paths where needed within a RISE context.

Experience : Minimum 10+ years in SAP Architecture with at least 1 full-cycle RISE Migration - Mandatory
