Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1-2 end-user technical support for macOS, Windows, applications, network, VPN, and SSO; troubleshoot issues and manage IT tickets with defined SLAs.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding; configure/provision laptops and devices using MDM tools; create/modify/deactivate user accounts; ensure timely access and equipment delivery.
  • Maintain device inventory and asset tracking; coordinate laptop repairs, replacements, and logistics; ensure devices are configured and secured according to company standards.
  • Administer and support applications and systems (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Zoom, 1Password); monitor system dashboards for compliance and performance; support security/compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO evidence collection).

About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced Contract IT Support Engineer to support and scale our global IT operations. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the IT Manager to deliver reliable end-user support, manage devices and systems, and help advance security and compliance initiatives across the organization. This is a hands-on role supporting employees across time zones during US business hours. You’ll play a key role in onboarding and offboarding, application and device management, and maintaining a secure, compliant IT environment in a fast-growing SaaS company.

  • What You Will Do

  • End-User Technical Support Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for macOS, Windows, applications, network, VPN, and SSO.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for users across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Manage and resolve IT tickets  with defined SLAs.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Configure and provision laptops and devices using MDM tools.
  • Create, modify and deactivate user accounts across business applications.
  • Ensure timely access, equipment delivery, and smooth employee transitions. 

  • Device & Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate device inventory and asset tracking records. Coordinate laptop repairs, replacements, and logistics.
  • Ensure devices are configured and secured according to company standards.
  • Application & System Support Support and administer tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Zoom, 1Password, and other applications.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and support integrations.
  • Monitor system dashboards for compliance and performance issues.
  • Security & Compliance Support
  • Ensure endpoints meet security baselines (encryption, patching, monitoring).Support SOC 2 and ISO evidence collection.
  • Support access reviews and compliance reporting.
  • Project Support Support application integration and system improvements.  (Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Snowflake).Assist with IT-related projects tied to scaling, automation, and compliance.
  • Participate in the implementation of new compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 42001).Documentation Maintain IT process documentation, how-to guides, and SOPs.
  • Ensure asset issuance and return logs are up to date.

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-8 years of IT support or systems support experience.
  •  Willing to work in the US shift timings.
  • Strong hands-on experience with macOS and Windows laptops, setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Administration.
  • Experience with MDM tools (Rippling, Intune, Jamf, Kandji).Basic knowledge of networking (DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • CompTIA Security+ and Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificates.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Jira admin, automation tools, or scripting.
  • Experience working in fast-paced SaaS or startup environments.
