  • Lead technical onboarding of customers and partners.
  • Advise on IIoT architectures, IT security, Connectware integration and relevant use cases.
  • Implement industrial data infrastructures with Connectware and scalable Infrastructure-as-Code deployments, and provide ongoing technical product support.

Company: Our client is an industrial IoT company founded in Hamburg in 2015. They help manufacturing companies achieve their digital goals in the most efficient way. Current clients are big and small production companies from the Automotive, Medical, Food and other sectors. You will have the chance to work closely with incredible experts in a rapidly growing niche. 

Facing the reality of high quantity production and of climate change, they face the challenge of using less resources and energy and producing less waste in the manufacturing industry. The opportunity to apply those principles is more achievable with the company product. It enables efficient and smart production processes in factories by connecting all the machines on a factory’s shop floor, consolidating the diverse data sets and providing the data for eg. visualizing or analyzing purposes. This way Operational Technology (OT) and IT of a shop floor are connected and empower factories to function smarter and resource consciously.


Product: The company develops connectivity solutions for data-driven industry services. They built a product that is a gateway software solution for industrial plants and machines (API for factories), which allows integrating data from the machines to the client's IT system. The installation of this product in a factory closes the gap between the high security requirements in manufacturing and the connected world of digital services. She acts as a translator between protocols and administrative layers, allowing easy, accurate and controlled data access. This product became a key data hub for today's production environments and digital business models in the industry.  

Location: Hamburg, Germany, you can work remotely in Germany

Type of contract: Permanent remote position. 

As Customer Success Engineer you will work with the company customers to design innovative solutions by implementing complex requirements in the areas of IT infrastructure, shop floor, and end-user applications with clarity and pragmatism.

You will be responsible for the technical onboarding of customers and partners.

You will advise on IIoT architectures, IT security, Connectware integration and relevant use cases.

You will implement industrial data infrastructures with company Connectware.

You will implement scalable Infrastructure-as-Code deployments.

You will support the customers with technical product support.



Requirements

  • Advanced programming skills (concepts, APIs, programming languages)
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps tools and methods (e.g., Git, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Argo CD)
  • Experience in system administration (e.g., Linux, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in network administration (e.g., architecture, infrastructure, troubleshooting, OSI model)
  • Fluent German and English skills (at least C1)

Bonus points for:

  • PLC programming (e.g., Step7/TIA, Codesys)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • (Industrial) communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, OPC UA, Modbus, BACnet)
