Technical Project Manager (Remote/Hybrid)

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly experienced Shopify Project Manager to oversee the development of custom Shopify themes, manage complex client projects, and optimize workflows across our technical and design teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and the leadership skills to scale our operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Scale Operations: Manage and develop a growing team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and at the highest quality.
  
• Theme Production: Oversee the end-to-end Shopify theme development process from concept to submission, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  
• Technical and Design Integration: Act as the bridge between technical development and design teams, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving.
  
• Project Management: Deliver fixed, semi-custom, and fully custom Shopify projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and timelines.
  
• Shopify Integrations: Lead and manage integrations with third-party apps and complex systems.
  
• KPI Tracking and Reporting: Monitor KPIs, allocate resources efficiently, and report progress to senior management.
  
• Migration Projects: Manage Shopify migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from other platforms.
  
• Process Optimization: Continuously refine development workflows and ensure high standards through quality assurance measures.
  

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in project management, ideally in e-commerce and Shopify development.
  
• Deep technical knowledge of Shopify, including theme development, Liquid templating, and Shopify App/API integrations.
  
• Proven track record of leading and scaling teams, with excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, JIRA) and collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace).
  
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with designers.
  
• Experience leading Shopify migrations and third-party app integrations.
  
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high levels of organization and efficiency.
  
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on e-commerce technologies.
