  • Conduct client discovery and digital assessments across web, SEO, content, analytics, and conversion; define KPIs and measurement frameworks; create roadmaps aligned to client goals and channel best practices
  • Manage end-to-end delivery with cross-functional partners; provide clear requirements, briefs, QA, iteration cycles; identify optimization opportunities (CRO, UX, content, SEO) and ensure execution-ready plans
  • Translate performance data into insights; support regular performance reviews and contribute to quarterly business review narratives for clients and internal leadership; support Tru's internal website and social presence as secondary focus

We’re hiring a Digital Strategist to lead client-facing digital strategy across performance, content, UX, and analytics. You’ll translate business goals into measurable plans and roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support execution, and drive ongoing optimization. You’ll be accountable for strategy and outcomes across assigned engagements, partnering closely with senior leaders for alignment and working with onshore and offshore delivery teams to execute. Client work is the primary focus, with secondary contribution to Tru’s internal digital presence (truinc.com + social). This role requires strong prioritization and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.



Requirements

Strategy & Planning

  • Lead client discovery and digital assessments across web, SEO, content, analytics, and conversion

  • Create digital strategies and roadmaps aligned to client goals, seasonal priorities, and channel best practices

  • Define KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement frameworks across acquisition, engagement, and conversion

  • Translate briefs into actionable plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and expected outcomes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (content, design, development, analytics, paid media) to ensure initiatives are integrated and execution-ready

Execution Support & Optimization

  • Support implementation through clear requirements, briefs, QA, and iteration cycles

  • Identify opportunities to improve performance through CRO, UX improvements, content enhancements, and SEO strategy

  • Partner with analytics to ensure tracking integrity, clean UTMs, and accurate measurement

Reporting & Insights

  • Translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations

  • Support regular performance reviews and contribute to quarterly business review narratives for clients and internal leadership

Internal Growth (Secondary)

  • Support Tru’s internal website and social growth through strategy, planning, optimization, and reporting

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, or performance-driven growth roles

  • Strong knowledge of digital strategy development and execution (SEO, content strategy, analytics, and conversion optimization)

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and stakeholder-ready insights

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Comfort owning projects end-to-end and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting paid media strategy or performance optimization

  • Familiarity with AI search shifts (SGE/AEO) and modern content workflows

  • Experience with GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, and/or Tag Manager

Success Met​rics

  • Clear, measurable roadmaps delivered and adopted by client teams

  • Performance improvements across SEO/content/conversion metrics

  • Strong reporting clarity and stakeholder confidence in strategy and execution

  • Scalable strategy frameworks and templates developed for repeatable success



Benefits

Salary Range: $60k-$75k
