Job description

This is a remote position.

Nerdbug is a Nigerian Software Development start-up firm, passionate about solving tech-related business needs by offering business applications and support and empowering businesses with tech-talents, to enable maximum business value for businesses in today’s competitive tech-space.

Requirements

What we are looking out for:

3–4 years of proven experience managing diverse marketing functions (campaigns, content, performance, and branding).
Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
Ability to manage multiple projects and balance short-term priorities with long-term goals.
Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for digital products or services.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, or similar.
Ability to develop brand messaging and ensure consistency across all channels and campaigns.
Skilled in creating campaign briefs and coordinating with designers, content creators, and external vendors.
Knowledge of customer segmentation, buyer journey mapping, and lead nurturing strategies.
Comfortable working in a startup or fast-paced environment, taking ownership and driving initiatives.
A collaborative mindset with strong organizational and planning skills.

What a typical day would be like:

Coordinate and support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with company goals.
Manage paid advertising campaigns and optimize for performance and ROI.
Create and manage content for email marketing, blog posts, and social media.
Monitor website and campaign analytics to inform ongoing strategy.
Assist in SEO tasks including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization.
Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and design teams to support business growth.
Manage marketing tools, calendars, and reports to ensure timely execution.
