Job description

This is a remote position.

The Role

As our Marketing Manager, you’ll strategize, oversee, and execute a variety of sales enablement marketing projects. You’ll bring senior leadership experience and expertise to drive new business opportunities for Newfangled Studios.

The High Level
  • Strategize for Sales Enablement:
    • Think strategically about how our marketing efforts can directly lead to sales enablement and new leads for the company.
  • Project Management:
    • Plan, strategize, and execute tasks while effectively delegating to junior team members.
  • Copywriting:
    • Deliver a variety of copywriting tasks, including award submissions, social media posts, website copy, and more.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Maintain attention to detail and respect for timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and do not fall through the cracks.
  • Client Project Strategy/Management:
    • Engage in active client project strategy and management as needed.


Requirements

Typical Ongoing Projects:

  • Marketing Collateral to Promote Company Capabilities (3-5 hours per week):

    • Strategically promote relevant client work across our owned channels to showcase our expertise and attract new clients.
    • Identify creative campaigns to showcase and develop strategic plans for promotion.
    • Lead the concepting and creation of marketing collateral, coordinating resources for production.
    • Manage the process to ensure marketing materials are uploaded and promoted effectively.
  • Lead Generation / Networking (3-5 hours per week):

    • Identify key individuals for targeted communications to build our potential client network.
    • Align with senior leadership on target brands and develop a list of potential clients using LinkedIn and other techniques.
  • Organic Social Channel Management - IG, TikTok, LinkedIn (3-5 hours per week):

    • Develop and implement high-level strategy for Newfangled Studios’ organic social media efforts.
    • Create content calendars for key channels, with a priority on LinkedIn.
    • Manage the creative process to ensure timely production and posting of content.
    • Engage actively with comments, likes, and other interactions on social media.

Typical One-Off Projects:

  • Quarterly LinkedIn Paid Campaign Management (15-20 hours per campaign):

    • Manage resources and timelines for content development and stakeholder approval.
    • Define campaign audience, spend, and analytics strategy.
    • Delegate tasks for posting ads and tracking results to junior staff.
  • Award Submission Support (5-10 hours per award):

    • Lead the registration and submission process for various awards, including copywriting and identifying creative assets.
    • Maintain an updated awards calendar and identify relevant industry awards.
  • Content Development (5 hours per article):

    • Develop thought leadership articles through partnerships with AdAge, Little Black Book, and our website blog.
    • Write and pitch article overviews/topics internally for approval.
    • Assist in writing articles and strategize promotion on owned channels, particularly LinkedIn.
  • New Business Pitch Support:

    • Provide senior counsel on new business pitch opportunities.
    • Manage the RFP response process to ensure strategic, competitive bids.
    • Occasionally present finished bids to potential clients.
