Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Google Workspace Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization’s Google Workspace environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workspace administration, security configuration, automation, and user management to ensure a seamless and secure collaboration experience across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Chat, and Admin Console.

  • Create, manage, and deprovision user accounts, groups, and organizational units.

  • Implement and enforce security policies including 2-Step Verification, access control, and data loss prevention (DLP).

  • Configure and maintain Google Workspace integrations with third-party tools and identity providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).

  • Monitor system performance, email delivery, and data synchronization to ensure uptime and reliability.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (using Google Apps Script or APIs) to streamline administrative tasks.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Workspace-related incidents and service requests.

  • Stay up to date on Google Workspace releases, best practices, and emerging technologies.

  • Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance teams to maintain organizational data integrity and audit readiness.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Google Workspace administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Admin Console, Groups, Drive permissions, and Vault for eDiscovery and compliance.

  • Experience with identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth) integrations.

  • Proficiency in Google Apps Script, Python, or PowerShell for automation.

  • Familiarity with endpoint management and mobile device management (MDM) for Workspace.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Workspace Administrator Certification (strongly preferred).

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration.

  • Knowledge of data migration tools (e.g., Google Workspace Migrate, CloudM, BitTitan).

  • Background in email security and DNS configuration (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
