We are seeking an experienced HR Services Manager for a 6-month temporary position, acting as the primary point of contact for global clients and providing expert guidance on local employment laws in Switzerland, France and Germany.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in a dynamic global HR environment.

How you will make a difference:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related questions across the entire employee lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to deliver a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new GEO workers, delivering a seamless, compliant, and positive experience across Switzerland, France, and Germany.

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting and executing HR processes, including handbooks, policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Draft and manage employment contracts, ensuring full legal compliance at all times.

  • Lead and manage complex HR projects, addressing issues like performance management, terminations, and employment transfers with both workers and clients.

  • Provide expert guidance on local market trends, benefits, and employee considerations to strengthen competitiveness.

  • Review and update HR policies, procedures, and work conditions, ensuring effective communication and strict adherence.

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement within our processes and implement changes to mitigate risks.

  • Assist with monthly payroll processing in collaboration with our local payroll partner.

  • Contribute your expertise to wider projects, helping shape solutions that make a real difference.

  • Identify gaps in HR processes and implement smart solutions to improve efficiency, service quality, and risk mitigation.

  • Stay ahead of changes in local employment law and keep the team informed with key updates.

What will make you stand out: 

  • HR Expertise Across Europe: Extensive hands-on HR experience in Switzerland, France, and Germany, ideally within HR outsourcing or EOR environments, with a strong focus on delivering seamless onboarding and offboarding journeys.

  • Employment Relations Confidence: Proven ability to navigate and advise on complex employee relations matters with clarity, professionalism, and sound judgement.

  • Bilingual Communicator: Fluent in German and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Payroll Collaboration: Comfortable supporting payroll-related activities and working closely with payroll teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance.

  • Labour Law Specialist: In-depth knowledge of local employment legislation, with the ability to apply it pragmatically in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive & Accountable: Highly organised, self-driven, and accountable, with a strong ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and take ownership.

  • Tech-Savvy: Experienced with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems, using technology to deliver efficient and high-quality HR support.

  • Always Up to Date: Keeps ahead of changes in employment legislation and translates them into clear, practical guidance for clients and internal teams.

  • Strong Problem Solver: Demonstrates sound judgement and calm decision-making when handling sensitive or high-risk employee relations situations.
