Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

The Opportunity:

As a Sales Development Representative at Leaf Agriculture, you’ll play an essential role in driving our growth. Your main focus will be on reaching out to potential customers, identifying the key decision-makers, and introducing them to our solutions. Your work will help us build stronger relationships in the AgTech market and expand our customer base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Customer Outreach:
    • Identify and connect with new businesses that could benefit from Leaf’s products. Reach out to them, explain our offerings, and set up meetings for our sales team to take the conversation further.

  • Lead Engagement:
    • Qualify and follow up on incoming leads, ensuring they have a positive first experience with us and scheduling product demos.

  • Effective Communication:
    • Use phone calls, emails, and social media to engage with potential customers. Your ability to communicate clearly and persuasively will be key to capturing their interest.

  • Time Management:
    • Stay on top of your tasks, managing your schedule effectively to meet goals for reaching out to new businesses and setting up meetings.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Result driven: Looking for people that work with urgency, take coaching well, and are able to self reflect and adjust.


  • Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience is preferred.


  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in a similar sales role is a plus, but we’re also open to candidates who are eager to start a career in agtech sales.


  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills across phone, email, and social media are essential.


  • Tech Familiarity: Experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach.io, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is helpful, but not required—we can train you.
