Genesis10 is seeking an Insurance Specialist for a 3-month remote contract position with a leading client in Brooklyn, OH.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour, W2.
Job Duties:
- Under the direction of the department manager, the person in this position is responsible for acting in the most timely, efficient and responsible manner to protect the interest of the investors pursuant to the mortgages serviced for them.
- The duties specifically relate to all insurance matters.
- This is accomplished within the parameters of individual investor guides, Pooling and Servicing Agreements, applicable law and the mortgage documents.
- The person will be responsible for monitoring compliance of insurance for commercial properties, held as collateral for various lenders and investors.
- This will include, at minimum, insurance analysis, premium disbursements from escrow, risk assessment, appraisal review, and correspondence with various servicers, investors, borrowers, insurance agents and a variety of internal departments.
Requirements:
- This position requires an analytical mind and the ability to both assess complex risks, as well as articulate them.
- Can self-manage a wide variety and range of tasks, that may be different from one day to the next.
- Capable of complex analyses and assessment of situations, as it pertains to Insurance and/or Real Estate.
- Must have some type the following industry experience: Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, Real Estate.
