Role

The Delphix team is seeking engineers with a passion for data security to join our data compliance engineering team. In this position, you will get the opportunity to contribute to the Hyperscale Compliance product for which development and testing is driven completely by the India Engineering Team. This product was launched into the Market in July 2022 and handles the compliance use cases for large scale datasets. Delphix Hyperscale Compliance is based on a Microservices architecture and uses a cluster of Delphix Continuous Compliance engines to achieve faster results.

Delphix Continuous Compliance provides a single platform to secure and deliver data across the enterprise, ensuring that sensitive information is protected and allowing data operators to centrally manage security policies and compliance requirements. .You will be responsible for building complex features including writing automation for those features. You will work closely with Product Management, customers, and other engineering stakeholders to design the new solution. You will also collaborate with other team members to deliver highly-scalable, secure and maintainable features.

About the Job:

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering to maintain a high bar for quality
• Develop features for Delphix Continuous Compliance and Hyperscale Compliance products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment
• Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviews
• Scope, design and implement test automation for allocated features
• Monitor and maintain test automation, across multiple platforms and configurations
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of experience building enterprise applications deployed on-prem and/or in the cloud
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, test-driven, agile, collaborative, and iterative programming environment
• Ability to think clearly and articulate your vision with the appropriate technical depth
• Desire to build great products, learn new technical areas, and dive in wherever there is a need
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Python, Java or related programming language
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous experience writing automation frameworks in Python
• Deep understanding of file systems and operating systems
• Experience with large/complex relational databases, data warehouses (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Azure, Amazon RDS, Teradata, etc.) and other business data formats (XML, ASC X12, etc.)
