Roles & Responsibilities

  • 8+ years of overall software development experience with at least 4+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) / SFRA
  • Proficiency in SFCC/Demandware Script, Java OOP and Node.js
  • Experience developing business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) and integrating with payment, tax, and OMS systems
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful web services, Ajax-driven client applications, advanced JavaScript architectures, pipelines, JS controllers, and ISML templates

Requirements:

  • Develop and deliver business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) leveraging SFRA, OCAPI, pipelines, and ISML templates
  • Integrate custom services into SFCC and manage payments, tax, and OMS integrations; enable real-time data exchange via RESTful web services
  • Work with Business Manager to configure jobs, manage catalogs, content assets/slots, SiteGenesis, UX Studio, and ensure MVC and accessibility compliance within an agile framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, produce technical documentation, and understand Demandware limitations (quotas) to optimize performance

Required Skills

Experience in developing business solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).

Good knowledge of SFCC / Demandware Script, Java OOP/Node.js.

Expertise in RESTful web services, and Ajax-driven client applications, and includes Advanced JavaScript architectures.

Good experience in SFRA

Strong background in World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), accessibility guidelines, model view controller (MVC), agile development, and tools.

Experience in using Pipelines, JS controllers, ISML templates, and real-time data exchange using web services.

Hands-on experience in integrating custom services into SFCC. Good exposure to payment, tax, and operation management suite (OMS) integrations.

Good understanding of Business Manager and configuring jobs.

Strong SQL knowledge.

Exposure to technical reports and understanding of Demandware limitations, such as quotas.

Proficient in Demandware foundational concepts with good knowledge of SiteGenesis, UX Studio, content assets or slots, and Demandware Catalog.

SFCC certifications would be preferred.
