The Role

• You have post Secondary Education, preferably in a relevant field.
• You have 5+ years of web application development experience.
• You have 5+ years of PHP experience.
• You have 5+ years of Laravel experience.
• You have proficiency with Laravel Backend Coding Standards.
• You have 3+ years of WordPress experience.
• You have proficiency with WordPress Coding Standards, approaches, and common APIs.
• You have an excellent understanding of REST best practices.
• You have advanced SQL knowledge in creating, maintaining, and improving performance.
• You have experience with Git and other version control systems.
• You have proficiency in HTML/CSS. Experience with modern web standards required (semantic markup, HTML5, mobile web).
• You have proficiency in JavaScript Development, JavaScript Libraries.
• You have understanding of agile methodologies & principles (scrum, kanban, etc.).
• You have understanding of prototyping.
• You are Results / Quality / Process oriented.
• You have demonstrated ability to effectively translate business requirements into features & functional outputs.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You have experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, and GCP.
• You have experience with container-based deployment using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, and React, is a bonus.
• You have Linux server management experience with tools and processes such as PHPMyAdmin, Cron Jobs, and bash scripting.
• You have experience working with remote teams is a big plus. Our team is mostly distributed with team members in over 10 countries.
• You have Project Management Experience.
