SAP Product Costing Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Product Costing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the SAP Product Costing process, including Product Cost Settlement, Allocation Cycles, and Cost Elements, and understand how SAP handles Controlling (CO) transactions and data internally. Additionally, experience with data extraction and integration with Data Lake will be considered a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Costing Configuration & Management: Configure and manage SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) functionalities, including Product Cost Settlement, Allocation Cycles, Primary and Secondary Cost Elements, and Activity Types.
• Cost Calculation: Oversee and manage Standard Costs, Overhead Calculation, and analyze cost variances for manufacturing processes.
• SAP Transaction Code Expertise: Be proficient in SAP Controlling (CO) Transaction Codes such as CK11N (Costing), KKAO (Results Analysis), KO88 (Settlement), KEU5 (Allocation Cycles), and KS01/KS02 (Cost Center creation/modification).
• Product Cost Settlement: Manage the complete process of product cost settlement and allocations to ensure accuracy and completeness in controlling.
• Internal SAP Processing: Understand how SAP processes internal information related to cost elements, activity types, and allocation cycles to ensure accurate costing information.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis of product costing data for decision-making support.
• Data Extraction & Integration: Experience with data extraction tools and integration with Data Lakes and other data repositories is an added advantage.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely costing information and seamless data flow across the system.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve the SAP Product Costing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years of experience working with SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Expertise in SAP Product Costing processes, including Product Cost Settlement, Allocation Cycles, Primary and Secondary Cost Elements, and Activity Types.
• In-depth knowledge of Standard Cost Calculation, Cost Variance Analysis, and Overhead Calculations.
• Strong experience with SAP Transaction Codes for Controlling and the ability to navigate complex SAP processes related to Product Costing.
• Hands-on experience in data extraction from SAP and integration with Data Lake or similar data repositories.
• Proficiency in SAP Controlling reports, analytics, and financial data interpretation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to provide accurate costing insights.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA for Product Costing processes.
• Experience with SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) integration.
• Familiarity with BI/BO (Business Intelligence/Business Objects) for advanced reporting.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
