Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years working as a backend engineer, with at least two years in Java.
Experience with relational and non-relational database design and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search).
Experience with modern development tools (JIRA, Git, Jenkins).

Requirements:

Understand, develop, own and maintain Algopix backend server-side code.
Design, plan and execute tasks from start to finish.
Participate in daily meetings, report your progress and flag blocking issues.
Work closely with Algopix Product Manager to define, estimate and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

Understand, develop, own and maintain Algopix backend server-side code.
Design, plan and execute tasks from start to finish.
Participate in daily meetings. Report your progress and flag blocking issues.
Work closely with Algopix Product Manager to define, estimate and prioritize tasks.
Be an active team member and participate in design discussions, presentations, and planning.

Good to Have

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years working as a backend engineer of which at least two were in Java.
Experience working on a high scale, production-grade projects.
Experience with relational and non-relational database design and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search).
Experience with modern development tools (JIRA, Git, Jenkins).
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
