Roles & Responsibilities

5-7 years of Calypso development experience
Proficiency in Calypso, Java, SQL, Unix, and Eclipse
Awareness of Calypso architecture (engines, servers, build and deployment) and Calypso version 17+
Strong capital markets domain knowledge with understanding of FO/MO/BO functions and trade lifecycle across Rates, Commodity, FX, Credit and Equity asset classes

Requirements:

Design, develop, and customize Calypso solutions, including workflows for trades, messages, and transfers, and manage build and deployment in Calypso environments
Implement and customize BO modules (Messages, Reports, Scheduled Tasks, Task Station) and integrate interfacing applications (MarkitWire, Reuters, DTCC, Acadia)
Analyze requirements, provide effort estimations, document designs, and perform unit testing; train resources
Support Calypso upgrades and Workbench/Dashboard usage and contribute to Agile/DevOps practices

Job description

Senior Calypso Developer with 5 to 7 years experience.

Mandatory skills

Calypso, Java, SQL, Unix, Eclipse
Awareness of Calypso Architecture (including engines, servers, build and deployment) preferably V17 and above
Good understanding of the capital markets domain and awareness of FO/MO/BO functions
Awareness of the pre-requisites and trade lifecycle for either Rates/Commodity/FX/Credit/Equity asset class
Experience on Static and Reference data setup LE, Books, SDI, Trade Filter, Static Data Filter, etc.
Experience on workflow and workflow customizations for Trade/Messages/Transfers
Experience on BO customizations Messages, Reports, Scheduled Task, Task Station
Experience on implementation for an interfacing application (custom/out-of-the-box) MarkitWire, Reuters,DTCC,Acadia,etc.
Analysis, communication and estimation skills
Good documentation and unit testing skills
Ability to train resources
