  • Collaborate closely with the client's team, including occasional evening communication (up to 22:00–23:00 Kyiv time), and maintain code quality with automated tests and CI/CD practices

Job description

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join a long-term US-based fintech project.

The ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of relevant IT industry experience, strong knowledge of ECMAScript.

  • 4+ years of commercial experience with Node.js.

  • Hands-on experience with NestJS.

  • Experience working with AWS (Aurora RDS, Serverless, Cognito).

  • Experience with NoSQL & PostgreSQL databases.

  • Experience with CI automation and test cases.

  • English: Upper-intermediate or higher (direct client communication).

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with Plaid integration.

  • Experience with Google Cloud architecture.

 What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain backend services for a fintech platform.

  • Work with AWS services, including serverless infrastructure.

  • Implement integrations and optimize existing systems.

  • Collaborate closely with the clients team (evening communication required).

  • Ensure code quality with automated tests and CI/CD practices.


Important note: This role requires evening communication with the US client (up to 22:00 - 23:00 Kyiv time). Its not every day, but such calls/tasks may occur.
