Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of experience in project management or operations, ideally within oil & gas, mining, construction, or real estate development.
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Power BI, Excel, or similar).
  • Strong English communication, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Support the Manager in planning, tracking, and reporting ongoing logistics and infrastructure projects; prepare and maintain project dashboards, reports, and performance summaries highlighting milestones, risks, and KPIs.
  • Assist in budget monitoring, procurement coordination, and vendor performance tracking.
  • Develop and update project documentation, including timelines, risk registers, and progress trackers; conduct data analysis and prepare executive-level presentations and briefings.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors; participate in shadowing sessions and project meetings, capturing key actions and supporting decision-making; contribute to continuous improvement of processes and digital reporting initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Project & Operations Assistant to support a senior leader overseeing logistics, infrastructure, and field projects within the oil, gas, and mining sectors.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in project management, reporting, and dashboarding, and a strong understanding of industrial or infrastructure projects such as real estate development, logistics, or field operations.

In this role, you will work closely with and shadow a senior manager, assisting in the coordination, documentation, and monitoring of complex projects. You will play a key part in ensuring operational excellence through structured reporting, project tracking, and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in planning, tracking, and reporting of ongoing logistics and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or operations, ideally within oil & gas, mining, construction, or real estate development industries.
  • Proven experience with project management tools and reporting software (e.g., MS Project, Power BI, Excel, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with PMP principles or formal project management methodologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
