The good recruiters seek to find a way out, often leading them to internal careers where earning prospects are sacrificed for greater career fulfilment and the opportunity to grow expertise. Worst case? They leave the industry all together.

We have seen a wave of businesses attempt to address this over the years. The embedded talent model helped some way, but the big players prioritise capacity over capability, leading to extortionate monthly fees for inexperienced recruiters who themselves are rarely compensated even 20% of their charge-out fee.

The Tech Talent Co. is the last recruiting role of your career. Although we are always learning and bettering ourselves as individuals, we're not a place to learn the basics - we're where experts come to apply their craft ruthlessly and produce extraordinary results.

Our team operates remotely by default, but we do meet in person on a monthly cadence and are planning a London office for those who prefer a hybrid set-up.

We operate with a "one team" structure. Clients and roles are shared transparently, and we deliver as a unified team. We only hire when we have enough high-quality work to ensure new hires hit the ground running. While BD is appropriately incentivised, it is not necessary nor is it encouraged.

As founders, we lead by example, taking a modest salary and limiting our dividends to just £1k per year - demonstrating our commitment to reinvesting in the business and prioritising our team.

The Interview process

We're focused on finding exceptional people, not making you jump through unnecessary hoops:

  1. Intro Call: 45 minutes with Hayden Green (Co-Founder), remote.
  2. Candidate Management: 45 minutes with Paul Batty (Co-Founder), remote.
  3. Candidate Delivery: 90 mins with both founders, in person.
  4. Offer: Followed by informal chats to meet the team.
