Job description

Java Team Manager - Inside IR35 - 12 month contract - Fully Remote

My client is seeking an experienced Java Team Lead for a fully remote role based out of anywhere in the UK.

As an experienced Software Developer, the role holder will have progressed to a managerial level, and whilst technically knowledgeable, will now be focused on enabling the team to deliver quality software.

A key aspect of the role is to ensure that the team's workload is always perfectly balanced to ensure best performance and promotes a highly professional and inclusive culture.

Candidates must have the following skills / experience:

  • Java 8 / Java 17 / Java 21
  • Experience of Agile software development and working in SCRUM teams
  • Ensure agreed architecture principles are adhered to when designing solutions
  • Team management experience
