Key Responsibilities:
* Linking read coding to existing and new problems by marking as a new/ongoing episode and attach it in patient record
* Code complex medical documents and summarise medical record envelopes
* Manage NHS mail and incoming post, including scanning and attaching to patient-related documents
* Maintain all patient records appropriately working towards IG standards and Data Protection
* Manage E-Consults, subject access requests, death certificates and cremation forms
* Support team with Retinal screening reports
Key Requirements:
* Working knowledge of MS Office applications
* Understanding of data protection legislation
* Experience using medical systems
* NHS or General Practice experience
* High attention to detail
* Previous Data Coding and Summarising experience is highly desirable
This is a part-time permanent role, based on-site at Shipley. You will be working 15-20 hours per week.
