ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY  

NP Digital Canada is looking for a curious, data-driven, and hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about paid media, eager to deepen their expertise across multiple platforms, and excited to help clients drive meaningful business outcomes.

In this role, you’ll support the planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of paid media campaigns across a diverse client portfolio. You’ll work closely with teammates across Client Services and Account Management to translate business goals into channel strategy, performance insights, and actionable recommendations. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into performance data, bringing forward ideas, and contributing to a “test-and-learn” mindset that improves results over time.

To be considered, candidates must currently reside and be eligible to work in the Canada.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  •  Assist in developing the strategic planning and channel investment strategy
      for your client portfolio
  • Assist in the set up and management of paid social advertising campaigns  on platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit & others as they emerge
  • Analyze day to day campaign performance against campaign KPIs
  • Implement ongoing campaign optimizations, including audience targeting, ad
      copy or creative edits, and other campaign-specific adjustments
  • Assist in writing effective paid social and search ad copy
  • Contribute to client reporting on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.
  • Lead client communication along with the Account Manager as it relates to paid media strategy
  • Work with your clients to determine and identify which business metrics will be used to determine campaign success
  • Monitor and report these throughout the campaign and deliver insights and recommendations to improve, not only, current campaign performance but to help to inform future client campaigns
  • Develop a consistent test and learn culture with clients to optimize each campaign and deliver best in class results for them. As part of this process, you will be empowered to explore opportunities to include Client’s campaigns in any partner Alpha/Beta/Pilot programs that align to the client’s business objectives
  • Use your passion and creativity to help develop intelligent, innovative and effective ideas and process improvements for your clients
  • Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we’re in; establish a presence in the agency; have a voice in meetings.

ABOUT YOU 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of paid media buying experience including internships
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of basic formulas and pivot table creation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Successful track record of helping to build and present strategic digital approaches, recommendations, and tactics for clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail, working with numbers and analyzing data
  • Great written communication skills, with experience writing effective ad copy for paid social and paid search
  • Experience creating strategic digital plans
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification (Media Buying) or other professional program completions/certifications
  • Google Analytics, or AdWords certification preferred
