Roles & Responsibilities

Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges
Experience coaching and mentoring peers across teams and establishing best practices
Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Proficiency in building web applications with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, plus frontend experience (Angular preferred; open to Vue/React)

Work on diverse projects such as ML-powered aerospace cloud detection, student/teacher portals, and partner apps

Your daily tasks will include

☁️ building sustainable state-of-the-art software solutions

☁️ following agile methodologies, clean code principles and test-driven development

☁️ constantly learning and developing your skills within a wide variety of customized software projects

☁️ building a relationship of trust with your team and allow self-organized working

☁️ establishing and maintaining a good working relationship of trust with the client

☁️ working on projects such as:

detecting Clouds with machine learning (Aerospace)
building a new portal for students and teachers (Public)
creating an excellent app with our partner HappyFoto

The following will make you succeed in this role

⭐️ solving complex challenges

⭐️ contributing to the impact of the company significantly by coaching less experienced peers across teams and establishing best-practices

⭐️ regularly and pro-actively giving and requesting feedback

⭐️ understanding the technical requirements of the project before you start programming

⭐️ having the belief that the difference between a developer and a good one is the ability to understand the business requirements and solution

⭐️ knowledge how to build web applications from scratch backed by entrepreneurial understanding

⭐️ feeling the same love for Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot as we do. Add some Angular to make it look neat, but be open for Vue, React and whatever comes

⭐️ fluency in both English & German

For Austria: The law stipulates that the minimum wage must be specified in job postings. The minimum salary is 60.900 euros/year in the collective agreement. Adequate to your skills, we are willing to pay much more.
