Roles & Responsibilities

Hands-on experience with mainframe technologies (Cobol, JCL, VSAM, CICS) and the ability to navigate mainframe screens.
Experience creating manual test cases in ALM based on input from business developers.
Ability to perform QA activities independently without ongoing support; strong self-sufficiency.
Experience working in an Agile delivery model and knowledge of retail/POS order flows.

Requirements:

Conduct manual QA testing on mainframe applications and validate mainframe interfaces.
Create and maintain manual test cases in ALM derived from business requirements.
Execute QA activities with minimal supervision in an Agile development environment.
Collaborate with business developers to test and validate retail/POS order processes.

Mainframe QA Tester - 100% Remote
Location Columbus, OH
Position type 12 Months Contract
Rate DOE

Core Skills: Mainframe (Cobol, JCL, VSAM, CICS), ALM, QA Skills.

QA Candidate should be able to

Hands on exposure to Mainframe and able to navigate mainframe screens.
Create manual test cases in ALM, based on communication with Business & Developers.
Demonstrate ability to perform QA activities without support.
Experience working in Agile delivery model.
Experience placing retail/POS orders.
