Roles & Responsibilities

Strong understanding of Databricks cloud architecture, including Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Serverless, Lakehouse monitoring, and workflow orchestration.
Experience leading data platform cloud architecture enablement for new capabilities, enhancements, and data source integrations.
Ability to collaborate with Cloud Services and GCS Architects to facilitate cloud and security reviews and ensure governance compliance.
US work authorization preferred (US Citizens, Green Card holders, or visa holders such as EAD, H-4, L-2, E3, TN); third-party corp-to-corp not accepted.

Requirements:

Lead data platform cloud architecture enablement for new capabilities, enhancements, and new data source integrations.
Deliver cloud and security architecture patterns that adhere to governance standards, focusing on Databricks features like Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Serverless, Lakehouse monitoring, and workflow orchestration.
Collaborate with Cloud Services and GCS Architects to facilitate cloud and security reviews for each new platform enablement.
Provide guidance on security and cloud governance for new data initiatives to ensure compliant deployments.

Core skill needed

Lead Data Platform Cloud architecture enablement for new capabilities/enhancements and new data source integrations.
This role primarily delivers Cloud and Security architecture patterns which comply with the cloud and security governance standards, focusing on new features we are planning to enhance. with respect to Databricks (like Unity Catalog suite features , Delta Sharing, Serverless, Lakehouse monitoring, Workflow orchestration etc).
A good understanding of Databricks Cloud Architecture is required.
This role requires strong collaboration with Cloud Services and GCS Architects to facilitate cloud and security reviews for each new platform enablement.
