Job description

Position: UI/UX Developer I
Location: Chicago, IL - Remote
Duration: 5 months
Rate: DOE

Requirements

Experience focused on front-end/UI development.
Proficiency in multiple frameworks and libraries (JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery).
Expertise in programming languages (HTML5, CSS3/SASS, React Native, JavaScript, C#, AJAX, web services).
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Development.
Experience with single-page application design and architecture/responsive design.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Develop user interfaces for web, mobile, and web console devices
Collaborate with back-end development, visual design, product management, and customers
Code behaviors and functionalities based on design specifications
Assist with new user interface testing and participate in usability reviews
Stay current on UI trends and programming techniques
Suggest new tools and methods
Conduct usability research and design in the absence of dedicated usability team members
Provide technical guidance and mentoring for UI/UX designs and refinement
Analyze, troubleshoot, debug, and fix UI and server issues
Contribute to end-to-end system architecture
Build complex web applications with clean and usable interfaces
Collaborate with UX team, product managers, and other engineers
